BRAIN FLOW #2

Collage joins together multiple images, multiple universes, as thoughts do.

Those universes collide, intertwine, overpower and strengthen one another and together form an original whole.  In her series of collages, ‘Brain Flow #2’ Marte Haverkamp transforms the collages from the frist series of ‘Bain Flow #1’ in to new constructed images.

After careful selecting colors and images, from various magazines she starts cutting, carving and constructing. ‘Brain Flow #2’s core characters are constantly shifting, bleeding into new layers and understanding.This game with color and shape make the new collages by Marte Haverkamp more powerful and his own .  

At first glance, it all may seem familiar. A closer look will transport you to a world that’s unique and unknown.
